Kory Lane Hamaker always imagined a life of making art from the time he was a child. He earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He found creative opportunities in the interior design field and after working as an interior/architectural designer in the local market, he opened his own successful decorative paint & mural company, Fauxscapes, Inc. in 2003.

Kory continued to pursue his fine arts in his free time and has been involved in the local arts community for many years, exhibiting several works in gallery shows. In addition, Kory has been able to do commission art for private clients.

Kory believes art to be vital for the soul and is grateful for the opportunity to share his unique spirit in creating personal collaborations. In 2018, he stepped away from the faux finishing to pursue his personal art and the desire to share it with the masses. He is currently taking commissions for custom art and is looking forward to releasing his own creations in print and other forms.
